My brain did a hard reset yesterday. I came home, took a nap, and then hit Farm Sim 25 and just zone out for hours. You need days like that some times. However, rest isn’t mindless. Rest is just a breather, rest is a remembrance that you still exist as a human being, and that mother nature gave you a planet to marvel at. I now have periods of “active rest,” this means my brain never shuts off, but my body just listens to the ramblings. We all have that one friend who just says nothing for a while, and then manically talks. That’s now my brain. I just let the ideas flow through me, and if anything perks, I just write it down for later. You know, some of these cozy games are perfect for meditation, the mindless tasks are perfect to just mentally rest. Your brain thanks you for the meditation and the time you zone out. Mine always does.
Tarot: The High Priestess
The meaning of the High Priestess is related with inner knowledge. Her appearance in a reading can signify that it is time for you to listen to your intuition rather than prioritizing your intellect and conscious mind. When the High Priestess shows up it can depict an archetype known as the divine feminine - the mysterious female that understands and holds the answers to the deep unknowns; religion, self, nature. She represents someone that is intuitive, and beginning to open to her or his spirituality. Meditation, prayer and new spiritual work is indicated.
Her appearance in a reading can signify that it is time for you to listen to your intuition rather than prioritizing your intellect and conscious mind.
The card itself shows a night-time scene, meaning that the world in which she protects and guards is one that may at first seem frightening, but has the potential to lead us into the growth of the self. When she appears in a reading, she is calling to you to listen to her message, and follow her into your own depths. There is searching within yourself to be done for the answers that you seek. The answers to the questions you have are within, not without.

It’s the universe’s way of saying “I know you said you’re fine, but how are you REALLY doing?” And honestly, not everything is perfect, or even great. They just are. I do feel a period of stagnation going on, but my body just can’t push through right now. Or, I won’t let it push through right now. Am I frustrated that October hasn’t gone the way I planned? Yes, I admit that. There’s been some setbacks in my ultimate quest to make Substack and YouTube my full-time job. I won’t lie.
However, I’m in a great place. We’re listening to our body more, and just moving with the natural rhythm. Yes, that means sitting back when we want to push forward, just because I hear my gut telling me “not now.” I’m listening to my intuition on the friendship front too. If my inner self doesn’t want you in, you’re not getting in anymore. The same for the love. We don’t let anyone touch what’s left of my heart anymore, not until my intuition gives us permission.
Rune: Perthro
Perthro is often associated with the cup of dice or the concept of fortune. It represents the element of chance and the unpredictability of life. It signifies that the influences affecting your situation may be due to luck or randomness. This rune highlights the ever-changing nature of circumstances and the need to adapt to the hand you’ve been dealt. You are being invited to accept and work with the unpredictable elements in your life. You must now make the best out of unforeseen situations and to find value in the hidden or unknowable aspects of your path forward. Embrace the role of chance and change with an open mind, knowing that you have the power to influence your outcomes through your responses and attitudes.
Perthro is also the rune of hidden meanings, secrets, and the mysteries of life. It encourages you to embrace the uncertainties and to look for opportunities within them. Like the womb, the unknown carries the promise of new beginnings and the potential for growth through change. Make the most of whatever comes your way, whether it seems fortunate or challenging.

Have you ever seen this scene in Highlander?
This is the universe right now. We’re on the beach, the universe behind me. Stop and feel the stag. Feel it’s heart beat. The same is for the universe. The universe has a heartbeat. Stop. Feel it. Float. The currents of the universe will steer you. Trust yourself and the universe. You got this.
The Praxis
Today, just stop. Listen to yourself. How are you feeling? No. How are you REALLY feeling? Find some time and journal it. It’s time you listened to yourself. Class dismissed.
